Stop Lynas, Save Malaysia

All I see on my facebook page this few days is "Stop Lynas! Save Malaysia!". I don't normally want to watch or read anything about home government "news". I'm sorry to say I am way too disappoint with them and I know there's never anything good as I keep reading. Sometimes I think that since I'm thousands of miles away from home, I just act blind on this matter. However, once in a while something catches my attention. Anything related to power abuse, killing for no reason and anything related to kids and animals will really make me mad. This "Stop Lynas, Save Malaysia" is definitely one of it. I know it's a huge things going on now in Malaysia. A lot of people all over the country are protesting and here I hope they can stay peacefully as much as they can and don't make this go ugly. Ok, a lot of you lovely readers are not from Malaysia so you might wonder what is Lynas? Lynas is basically an Australian company that’s building a $230 million rare earth processing plant in a town of Kuantan, Pahang at Malaysia. It will potentially expose tonnes of toxic waste on resident lives. The protest is to stop Lynas from exporting a toxic and radioactive legacy that will affect the lives and livelihoods of the residents. If you want to know more about this issue please check out http://savemalaysia-stoplynas.blogspot.com/ or http://stoplynas.org/. What concerns me the most is what if this RADIOACTIVE will end up affect lives, cause cancer, danger to babies or even the unborn? No matter where this happens, we don't want it. For you who have kids, don't you feel the worries and pain for others? What if this will affect your kids?
I care because it's my home country but even if this would happen somewhere else, I would feel the same. We are not separated by countries, we are all human and according to the Bible, we are all brothers and sisters. Last but not least, I send my love from United State to Malaysia for all the resident and citizen. Please be safe :)

Please join me through Google Friend (on the right), I am truly appreciate if you do :)

Fancy up the "Milu" cat t-shirt

This "Milu" black cat from Jason Wu for target collection is so popular now in United State. (Jason Wu again??) Yes, I'm sorry but I bought too many items from this limited collection and I need time to slowly style and show them to you. Please be patient for you who are not living in United State because all the styling I do works with any other similar pieces too. I believe everyone of you has a simple t-shirt just like this and pleated skirt is a spring/summer must have. If you are in the middle of looking for what to purchase for this coming spring/summer, get yourself a pleated skirt. Even better if you can find an asymmetrical one. Pleated skirts move beautifully when you walk and they are very ladylike. It can be styled as a pretty dinner outfit or casual day outfit. I also having a "Milu" cat scarf from Jason Wu to giveaway for one of you, so those not living in United State also has a chance to own one piece of this collection.

Now back to the "Milu" t-shirt. This black cats are featuring in a lot of Jason Wu for target collection and they became one of the most popular items in the collection. Who say black cats are not cute? Look at these pretty little black cats, they are so cute and adorable, just as the other cats or dogs! Lastly, join me through Google Friend (on the right), I am truly appreciate if you do :)

Gold and Belize Blue color

Some of you are concerning what's the weather here at where I live. Why is my outfit switching from winter to spring, summer to fall? Let put it this way, I don't really specific myself what to wear in which season; but of course weather do take a big part on what I wear. I don't put all the grey and dull color for winter clothes and I won't go crazy with bright color only in spring or summer either. I put together what I like according to my mood of the day and a little of "appropriate season outfit" to touch up.
As you can see some of my pictures are taken indoor, some are outdoor. That's because sometimes it's too cold or windy that I refused to stand in the cold for picture. However, even some outfits do not look cozy enough; it's what I wear of the day. The trick is - a big, warm wool coat! Cute outfit for indoor and a great warm coat to keep me warm while walking in the cold, that simple.
This outfit is what I call "Jason Wu overload". I think it sound funny and why would I do that if I know it's overload? Well why I call it overload is because 3 pieces in this outfit are from Jason Wu for target collection. However, these pieces - the gold top, light blue cardigan & white satchel do not fight with each other in the same outfit. I really like the color combination of gold and Belize blue together. They actually go pretty well together, at least that what I thought. You think?

Jason Wu for target collection - Black&White wheel-printed shirt dress

Last weekend was all about Jason Wu for target limited collection. There was a lot of excitement, nervousness, feeling the tingling in the stomach while waiting for the package and more, and all these make this purchased process fun. Well I'm lucky because I pretty much got all the items that I want. I do feel sorry for those that have hard time on their purchased due to the order cancellation and not got to get what they want. I hope you guys can eventually got what you want through the restock and the swap, buy&sell fb site.
Back to my first dress, it's a wheel-printed black and white shirt dress. It definitely looks shorter on the model but a little longer on me. Still a good length, hits just right above the knee. It's a very sophisticated, elegant and preppy shirt dress. Honestly, not so much of my style. If you do follow my blog I'm sure you understand what I mean. This pretty dress is so girly and "proper". But what I like about the dress is the print, the collar, and the pleated skirt, all these details are the reason I bought the dress. Another thing is, I though Vlad will not like it on me because he knows that's not my style. However, surprisingly he actually likes it. He said this will be a good summer dress to wear when I meet his parent. Ha!!! I guess he is right, I don't have much outfit that is "parent appropriate". For that reason, I'll keep the dress!! What do you think?
