Spring trench

Trench is one of my favorite outer wear for Fall or Spring, or any chilly day. However, sometimes it's not cold enough that you need to cover all up. This trench does have a great cutting, when I button it up and tied the waist with the belt; it actually looks like a full dress. It's still spring yet the weather is kind of warm but windy, so I decided to combined my lovely floral spring dress with this trench. Trick? I open up the trench by tied a bow at the back. How easy?!! This trench is from Jason Wu for target collection and I did hear some people complain that the shoulder part of this trench is weird on them. I don't know how it look and why you think is weird (feel free to send me a picture if you want me to have a look) but I do like the shoulder part of it. I personal have a narrow shoulder, I love how this trench has a straight cut at the shoulder and it makes a nice and modern look. If you are totally opposite with me by having wide or round shoulder, then you need a trench/coat/jacket that have a narrow shoulder cutting. It's ok if it's a little narrower than your shoulder because it'll visually narrow your shoulder too.

I love to add some spikes into my outfits, especially with the sweet and girlie outfit. A little spice doesn't hurt, right? :) I made a lot of spikes accessories and this is one of my favorite.

A few of you ask me how to tie this bow behind my trench coat. So, here it's. Sorry I'm catching a cold and temporary losing my voice so I did not speak in the video. I have a little instruction under the video post.

This bow is tied by the belt that comes with the coat. Therefore it's a harder material. Good thing about harder fabric is that the bow will stay how it's after you fix it. Basically it's just the basic way we all know how to tie a bow. Why it stay and look pretty is the after fix. As you can see I keep fixing the bow to the point that I satisfied. So, don't worry too much from the beginning, you can fix it to the way you like.

I'm wearing:
Trench from Jason Wu for target
Floral ruffle dress from bebe (I call it vintage in my closet)
Black Lita from  Jeffrey Campbell
Cream satchel from Jason Wu for target
Single spike ring from DIY (make it by myself)
