Peplum (again) in an elegant way

It has been six days since my last post! I miss writing posts, sharing ideas and communicating through comments with you fashionistas! It was a long week, you see, my 3 month summer holiday at West Palm Beach in Florida has come to an end. The weekend when we were about to leave was during tropical storm Isaac warning. Hubby and me drove from West Palm Beach to Tampa then to New Orleans to visit one of his best friend. The next day after we reach New Orleans we were evacuated from New Orleans because the tropical storm Isaac was about to hit New Orleans the next day. After a crazy traffic jam and about 12 hours drive, we finally reached Dallas, Texas. Had a few days vacation in Dallas and now we are back to Wichita. The whole week was about running away from Isaac, meeting tennis coaches and moving into a new apartment (if you are my long time reader you might know that my previous apartment had burned down because of a neighbor). It was a tough week but I finally settle down and back to blogging and life in Wichita.

This outfit was taken when I was still in Florida. This Peplum top is the exact same one from the previous post. The previous one I paired it with a DIY metallic pant to give it a modern and edgy look. Today, I show you how it could be done in an elegant way. I paired the Peplum top with a metallic body con skirt and play with color by adding pink belt and clutch. The look is elegant with a touch of sweetness and that's how I love it. How about you?

Outfit of the day:
Peplum from H&M
Metallic body con skirt from BCBG Max Azria
Pink Clutch DIY
