I said I was busy yesterday but it's not because I was planning surprise or cooking but because I was fixing this beautiful brocade dress. I did a post about this dress last year and it's a little bit different now after I made some changed yesterday. Originally the dress has higher collar and the length was just above the knees. I took off the extra fabric on the collar and re-length the dress to where I like it to be. Don't get me wrong, I do like the original design but it looks a bit more mature and after a few wears, I think it's time for a DIY!! If you haven't see the post for the original looks of this dress, Click Here to check it out. Believe or not I sew the collar and the entire bottom of the dress with hand and that's why it took me whole afternoon. We just moved to this new apartment and I still haven't have time to go purchased a new sewing machine. I was worry but people sewed the entire outfits with their hand before there's a sewing machine and why can't I? Luckily I succeeded and the outcome is nice. The process was long and painful but definitely worth it.
