Winter Chic looks

Hello everyone, how's your weekend going? I had a great time yesterday at a friend's birthday dinner and been having bad hangover today. Finally feeling better now and I would love to do a quick post. I want to hare with you 2 Winter chic outfits. You probably know that I have been saying stay chic in Winter outfits are not easy but it's not impossible. I got a lot of great respond and received a few messages asking me to show more chic and stylish as well as warm outfits for Winter. Therefore, I have created a few looks for those who follow our Facebook Page and there're a couple looks that I absolutely love and got great responded. I want to share with you here as well and I hope you like them too.

P/S: Every items are affordable with good quality. So don't hesitate to check it out!!

The first look I want to show you is a look that I'm so in love with. It's very elegant and sophisticated neutral monochrome Winter look. In this look I chose a long coat to start with. I pair it with a cream thick sweater and white midi skirt. If you are the kind that really hate the cold, add a couple more layers of thin sweaters and tights. Choose a beautiful tartan printed scarf to add some texture to this outfit.

The second look was one of the look I created on New Year Eve. Dresses are not the only choice for parties. For those cool, edgy and sophisticated girl (like me :P), a standout look with leather pants might just make you the focus point in a party. Add one shiny item, like the sequins top in this look, to make the outfit pop. A blazer for Spring or Fall, or a faux fur coat for Winter will keep you warm and stylish! I chose a pair of leopard print booties for this look and a faux fur bag to complete this look. This is very similar with what I wear on the New Year Eve and you can still wear this to any parties or dinner in these cold moths. What do you think?

Pastel with Burgundy

Hello everyone, how's your day so far? I have been enjoying the "Fall" weather in this Winter. This is my first Winter in Romania and I have been warn that Winter is going to be freezing. However, this Winter is really nice other than being fogy all day long. I am kind of glad because I love to dress for Fall but on the other hand I'm also looking forward for the snow. On the previous post (here) I was mixing burgundy with grey; today I decided to add some softer color to the rich burgundy using blue sweater and pastel pink statement necklace.

Burgundy + JollyChic Giveaway Winner

Burgundy is always my favorite color for F/W. For those who have been following Wear2day for a while might well known about that. I don't like to wear all grey or black all the time for the cold months and Burgundy is my go to color for this kind of season. I was feeling bold to wear almost all Burgundy for this look. To add some layering with colors, I chose a grey sweater on top of white turtle neck. I always try as hard as I can to look chic and keep myself warm in cold season outfits, and even though it's not too easy, it's not impossible. I'm not shy to let you know that I had 3 sweaters, 2 tights, a legging, a dress and a super chic and warm wool coats in this outfit. I felt so comfortable to walk around in this outfit. Cozy without looking like a bear for Winter? YES!

Happy New Year with Tartan (Giveaway Winners announcement)

Happy New Year everyone! This is the open post for 2014 and even thought I already wish you all a happy 2014 on the New Year Eve's post, I still want to wish you again Happy 2014! One of the biggest thing I'm looking forward for this year is that I'm going to visit to Malaysia, a beautiful hometown of mine soon for a month. It has been 9 years since I moved to United State and even though I have been visited back twice, never on Chinese New Year aka Lunar New Year. Chinese New Year is the biggest celebration holiday for all Chinese and some Asian in Asia. However, in US we never have holidays for CNY and therefore I haven't have a chance to visit back. This is going to be my first CNY after 9 years and I can't tell you how excited I am. Also, I will keep updating the blog while I'm there to show you all the excited things and the beautiful country.
